BELT SLIDE HOLSTER
Made for semi-automatic pistols & double-action revolvers
The design of this open top holster allows for an instant shooters grip. The J.I.T. Slide has an open muzzle, which will accommodate different barrel lengths of the same gun model or similar frame size. Center belt loop & a side covered belt slot pulls the firearm close to the body and fits belts up to 1 3/4".
The J.I.T. SLIDE is Don Hume's bestselling belt slide holster for concealment carry.
This is by far the best holster i have ever bought / used . It was recommeded by the dealer ( Beikirchs in east rochester ny ) for my Kel Tec P11 , and has been of excellent quality / fit finish and is reasonably priced . A very durable well fitting holster that I would recommend to anyone
Just got my JIT Slide left hand as well as the 715 IWB left hand holsters both for my PT111 9mm Taurus. Both holsters fit the gun very tight and hold it secure tight and high. Hopefully after breaking them in the fit will loosen up a little. Excellent quality and craftmanship of the leather. Should prove to be great concealed carry, both holsters deserve a five star rating. These are my first Don Hume purchases, but not the last. Will soon be ordering for more of my handguns. Thanks Don Hume and Oklahoma Leather for producing and supplying excellent products.
This is an update of my 3-25-2011 review. As previously mentioned purchased the J.I.T. Slide as well as a 715MWC inside waistband holsters in left hand brown for my Millenium Pro PT111. Both holsters fit extremely tight and the front sight as well as the safety were cutting grooves on the inside of the leather. Aplied a small amount of Galco Draw EZ lubricant with fingers directly to inside of the holsters, let lubricant dry for 10 minutes and began working gun in and out of both holsters. Within just a few minutes holsters loosened up and now provide a smoothe draw and re-holster and still retain the pistol very well. This is an excellent holster lubricant, be careful and use only a very small amount on the inside only (it would probably stain and darken the outside of the leather). Don't know if Don Hume makes or provides a similar product, but highly recommend it. Both holsters are extremely well made and I expect to use both for concealed carry for the foreseeably future.
