The design of this open top holster allows for an instant shooters grip. The J.I.T. Slide has an open muzzle, which will accommodate different barrel lengths of the same gun model or similar frame size. I am a right handed shooter but carry a backup gun on my left side in a J.I.T. Slide. When I am driving I found it difficult to access either of my firearms from the seated position. By rotating my J.I.T. to my right side (butt foreward) I can more readily access my firearm because my elbow is more forward in position. I truly love my holster even though it does not have a retention strap, which kept me from buying one at first. I will always regret that delay. This is not my only Don Hume product which I have been happy with all of them are made with the highest quality and professionalism.
Just received the J.I.T Slide for a CZ40 (76-CZ) model pistol. I learned from another website that this model holster would fit my CZ75 RAMI. All I can say is "that it fits perfectly". I know that I've saved about $70 - $80 compared to other cost from other websites for a CZ75 RAMI custom holster.
