PREFERRED CONCEALMENT CARRY HOLSTER This fine holster is to be carried inside the waistband strong side behind the hip. It has a wide belt loop with two pull-the-dot black snaps at function independently. Will fit belts up to 1 3/4". Reinforced top opening for easy re-holstering, form molded fit. A body shield will provide comfort between the weapon and user.
Bought this holster for my Taurus PT 145 Millennium Pro. Rides a little higher than I would have thought but fits the gun great. High quality and good finish. Its obvious the leather was molded for the gun for a great fit, but my one complaint is that it was molded with the thumb safety in the fire position and not the safe position. The raised safety is quickly rubbing away the leather when drawing and holstering the gun. That and the fact that its not available in black are my only complaints and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. I cant wait to purchase more of their products. Be sure to call and verify product availability before ordering. My holster was in stock but if its not it may take several weeks. Quick shipping and good customer service from Don Hume just earned them a lifelong customer and they will be my first stop for future purchases.
I purchased this holster over 10 years ago for my Sig 228 and then needed another for my S&W .38 Cenntenial Airweight. Love them both and have had no problems at all with these fine products. I also purchased a belt about a year ago because belts in most stores are not stiff enough. I am now looking for a holster for my new Springfield XD sub-compact and will most likely get the same holster!
This is an excellent IWB holster. I have worn this holster on and off duty for many years. The PCCH conceals easily and the belt loops allow for very easy on and off with the gun holstered. The PCCH also retains the gun during pretty aggressive activity. Unlike Belt holsters the PCCH positioned behind the strong side hip will disappear under a pair of shorts and a comfortably fitting t-shirt (You don't have to go all baggy to hide your gun with this holster) I am on my second PCCH in 10 years old and I can still re-holster my gun without a second hand to hold the holster open. I carried every day for the last 20 years for work. In the hotter weather this was my go to holster for plain clothes work. I still carry today, but I usually opt for the smaller Glock 19 or 26 and I usually carry in a PCCH holster. I would give it 5 stars, except it tends to be a little top heavy with shorter barreled pistols.
